Nature, mountains and movement – you are in precisely the right place at the Bartlmair Hof if you are also looking for an active break close to nature in tandem with relaxation. We are located on the edge of the village of St. Georgen near Bruneck and are thus in the perfect spot for enjoying the unspoilt nature, exploring the dense coniferous forests and alpine pastures and conquering the surrounding mountain summits. The Zillertal Alps in the north and the Dolomites in the south are perfect for hiking and biking – and in winter the Kronplatz ski resort is a great place to visit.

THE TOWN OF BRUNECK

Bruneck with its medieval castle and atmospheric old town is fantastic for a relaxing stroll among small shops, cafés and restaurants. In the run-up to Christmas, the large Christmas Market fills the centre with atmospheric sounds and scents. An interesting range of cultural activities and the farmers’ market on Fridays make for plenty of lively variety.

HIKING

The Puster Valley is paradise for hikers: gentle alpine pastures, the mighty Zillertal Alps and the Dolomites provide countless opportunities to experience the mountains of South Tyrol from their very best side. Be it an easy family hike or demanding mountain tour – there is a challenge to suit everyone here. And there’s always a treat for the eyes too!

CYCLING

There’s something to delight every cycling fan in the Puster Valley. Be it by e-bike or mountain bike – the landscape here can be explored in sporty or leisurely fashion by all the family. The expansive South Tyrolean Cycle Path Network is just a short ride from the Bartlmair Hof. There are also high-altitude mountain bike rides offering amazing views and exciting downhill trails on the Kronplatz.

THE KRONPLATZ

In just a few minutes by car you can reach the lifts to the Kronplatz – which in winter is a popular ski resort and in summer a great mountain for hiking and biking, with rapid downhill trails. On the summit plateau there are attractions for kids as well as the MMM Corones and LUMEN museums and these make our home mountain the perfect destination for anyone interested in culture as well as families.

LOW IMPACT MOBILITY

The South Tyrol Guest Pass is free of charge for our guests and permits free use of public transport throughout South Tyrol. In addition, there are discounted admission prices for museums, cable cars and selected leisure activities. In this way you can explore the holiday region conveniently and sustainably.

Our guests enjoy discounted admission to the Bruneck outdoor pool (in summer) as well as the CRON4 indoor adventure pool and the CRON4 sauna complex in Reischach – ideal for a few relaxing hours after an active day in the mountains.
